Recently I had an issue were hanging up the phone on a clients Fanvil x5u Handset did not transfer the call. This was unusual as on the x4 handsets this is the default. When you press a button for attended transfer and speak to the other person, after speaking with them you want to hang up and have the call transferred without having to further interact with the handset. Luckily there is a simple check box to enable this on other Fanvil phones, including the x5u and the x210.
- Log onto the Fanvil handset
- Select the Line option and then the Dial Plan tab
- Here, tick the “Attended Transfer on Onhook”. This will enable the desired functionality.
